I am thankful for everything I have experienced in this life of mine for in all I have found. I am thankful for all the tears I have cried for, they have taught me to appreciate laughter. You have given me the ability to see the joy that comes after.

Perhaps unconsciously I had this fear that bringing attention to the good things in my life might incur bad luck. So to play it safe, I went along without a grateful heart. You might be laughing now as you read this, and I thought that's rather silly of me too. But that's the belief I once held onto.

Not so long ago, I didn't know that I can express thanks for the blessings and good things in my life. I just took things for granted. Or worse, I was worried that if I was to acknowledge the blessings that I've received, somehow something "bad" would happen and take away those blessings.

Now, I'm quick to express thanks whenever a good thing comes into my life. Somehow, there's always something to be thankful about!I have this simple statement that I make often,
"Thank you God for all the blessings and abundance in my life."

Happy Aidilfitri

The holy Month of Ramadan has arrived.Muslim faithful throughout the world are currently observing the holy month of Ramadan. Observant Muslims participate in fasting, one of the five pillars of their faith, this entire Lunar month .

Eating, drinking, smoking and sexual activity is prohibited from dawn until sunset, when the fast is broken with the evening meal. Local customs define varying traditions, including differing types of food used to break the daily fast. The fasting is meant to teach a person patience, humility and sacrifice, to set aside time to ask forgiveness, practice self-restraint and pray for guidance in the future.

I would like to give All Muslim community my sincerest best wishes for the Holy Month of Ramadan. Ramadan marks an important time in the Islamic calendar. Throughout this Holy Month, the universal element of Islam is evident as Muslims across the World take stock of their lives and their faith.

"Wish You Happy Ramadan Al-Mubarak"

First of all a very Happy New Year to my visitors, and everyone else out there in Malaysia. Last year has been a great one for our nation. Our nation's goal of full sovereignty will be furthered through such means as this massage.

This coming year then, let us look forward to a brighter world. Let us hope for peace, prosperity and security to return to our giant neighbor nation and to the world in these troubled times. Let us hope for peace, prosperity and a bright future for all mankind, and for a peaceful coexistence with this planet we call home.

Let seek ever to expand Malaysia's role in both the world of small nations and the world of large nations. We all have much to contribute to each other. Let us continue to explore the heavens and the earth around us, for knowledge is indeed power. As always, let us continue to strive, to grow, to explore, to live and to learn.

And so, these things said, let us move forward. Every year is a new beginning for Malaysia, and every year brings new opportunities. Malaysia is among the greatest of the small nations of the world, a beacon to those that seek self-government and sovereignty. We never hesitate to lead, and to set the example.

For almost fifty two years, now Malaysia has grown and prospered. This pace continues unabated, and will continue for many long years. In this coming year, then, I speak to all Malaysians and wish to you all the best. I pledge to continue to give and share with you
as best as I can.

I am not the nation, we all are. And together we shall continue to build toward a great future for all Malaysians.

Today all muslims all over the world celebrates Hari Raya Aidiladha. Aidiladha is also commonly known as Hari Raya Korban or Hari Raya Haji in Malaysia.Hari Raya Aidiladha or the Festival of Sacrifice is a religious festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide in commemoration of the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to Allah.

The devil tempted Prophet Ibrahim by saying he should disobey Allah and spare his son. As Prophet Ibrahim was about to sacrifice his son, Allah intervened and instead provided a lamb as the sacrifice.

This is why today all over the world Muslims who have the means to, sacrifice an animal such as a cows, as a reminder of Prophet Ibrahim's obedience to Allah. All over the world, during Aidiladha, the sacrifice of four legged animals such as lambs, goats, cows, bulls and camels is performed. The meat is then shared out with family, friends, as well as the poor members of the community.

It makes me proud to be able to offer my congratulations on your graduation. I know how long and hard you have worked and studied. But, your dedication and perseverance has paid off, and you should be very proud of your accomplishment.

Now that you have graduated. There are many options and doors open to you that were previously unattainable. You set your goal and now have achieved it in your graduation. Remember the quote by Benjamin Mays, "The tragedy of life doesn't lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goals to reach."

Remember one of the keys to success is goal setting. Keep setting your goals and you can achieve what you now only dream of. I wish you all the best in pursuing a new career in your chosen field.

Well Done!!!
