A Day Lived is Not Coming Back

Practicing relaxation techniques can help calm our days when they get too stressful. It's easy to miss out on enjoying a day in our life if our minds are filled with worrisome thoughts and our bodies are tense with stress. A day lived is not coming back and we should not lose it in this way.

For starters, eliminate some things. Avoid running around frantically trying to do too many things. Slow down and move with an easy manner. If you cannot avoid problems and busy days, get in the habit of pausing to breathe slowly and deeply. Try to continue with easy breathing as you continue on with your tasks. When tightening up, say at your desk, relax all your muscles.

Let them go limp and loose like a soft towel. Don't try, just let it all go. Consciously let the muscles relax every time you feel them tighten, which might be all day long to start with. It is almost impossible to feel stressed if your muscles are relaxed. If you can get a short break create a detailed peaceful retreat in your imagination and go there to calm your feelings. Picture it in vivid detail. Perhaps a comfortable room with soft music, a quiet place in the woods, a placid lake, a beautiful garden with flowers, trees, birds.

Perhaps such a place already exists. While you are there, let go of everything except where you are.Create a personal selection of calming words like serene, tranquil, peaceful and repeat them to yourself as you move through your day. After work perhaps you can have a relaxing pastime such as walking or listening to music. There is however, a true music of nature, the song of the birds, the whisper of leaves, the ripple of waters upon a sandy shore, the wail of wind or sea.

What a Beautiful Life Means

Love has many meanings,
from something that gives a little pleasure,
to someone like me would die for.

It can describe an intense feeling of affection,
an emotion or an emotional state.
In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love.

Probably due to its large psychological relevance,
love is one of the most common themes in poetry.
I'm giving my entire life to you,
all of my mind, body, and soul.

Handing over to you my sweetheart,
in hopes, you'll be the one to keep me whole.
I'm delicately handing my heart to you,
in your caressing hands to forever keep.

I'm giving you the chance of destroying me,
and I know I'm in your love too deep.
Depending on your gentle and sweet love.

To get me through the tragic world each day.
I'm praying to God you'll always be here by my side,
and that's where you'll always be to stay.

Putting you over everyone else including myself,
you automatically go to the front of my line.
Which is why I'm delicately handing you my heart,
in hopes, you'll always and eternally, completely be mine, InsyaAllah.

The Rule of Friendship

Interacting amiably with family and friends is a super stress reducer. Instead of the mind working overtime on worries and problems, it is occupied with thoughts of other things and other people. There is less mental capacity left for anxieties and self doubt. Friendship improves happiness and abates misery by the doubling of our joy and the dividing of our grief.

Good friendship is healthy but it isn't easy for everyone. Getting people to like you is the starting point, and that should be fairly easy to do. People have a basic need to be liked themselves. Show interest, appreciation, and kindness. Smile. Praise given out sincerely is a great act of friendship. Be a good listener and try to see the good, not the bad qualities in people. These actions will usually be returned to you, sooner or later. The only way to have a friend is to be one. A friend is a person with whom I may be sincere. Before him I may think aloud.

As a friend, try to let an unfavorable incident or remark fly right over the top of your head. We all blurt out something stupid or do something regrettable at times, and it's so nice when the other acts as if it never happened. This is a dear friend. The rule of friendship means there should be mutual sympathy between them, each supplying what the other lacks and trying to benefit the other, always using friendly and sincere words.

Set Our Thoughts Properly

Life is thought, and when we cease to think, we are not living. How we think, is the kind of life we live. Since we are able to control our thoughts, we can determine the course of our life and the way we feel during our time here.We are what we think. It is very important to establish good thinking guidelines and follow them. Placing thoughts of peace and happiness in our minds will help to make our lives peaceful and happy.

If we do not set our thoughts properly, we travel through life by way of places where we will wish we had not gone. It is the mind that make us being good, happy, rich and poor. Our daily life includes thoughts associated with responsibilities concerning work, other people and handling problems. If possible, try not to think of too many different things during your day and don't move or think too quickly.

Start your morning with a plan to come through to bedtime relaxed, contented and ready for a restful night's sleep.Your own mind is a sacred enclosure into which nothing harmful can enter except by your permission. Reflect about things that can improve your feelings, learning, completing tasks, duties, pleasant, relaxing experiences and kind words.

Finally, think about your happiness, goals, life pleasures, your principles and your conduct. Think about enjoying the moment.

The Purpose of Life

Life challenges enable us to see ourselves at our best and our worst. We may attempt to temporarily escape our circumstances. Others find themselves overwhelmed careening out of control even contemplating how to commit suicide.

In time we found a way to guard our heart and mind. We discovered peace and joy by using words to bring hope and healing to others not as verbal weapons. We face our greatest life challenges. When we struggle to find love, security, and assurance that life truly has meaning.
Our fears, unhealthy behaviors and excessive emotional struggles result from our inability to interpret and correctly cope with our circumstances and feelings.

Whether wrestling with chronic pain, forgiving infidelity, or trying to conceive it is possible to move beyond that place of hopelessness. When we develop a personal relationship with the One who created us we discover how God wants us to respond in any given situation.

If you are facing difficult decision trust Him to provide the comfort, strength, and wisdom you need in order to continue toward your goal. By placing our faith in God, we take our hands off our problems.

Life Challenges

All of us experience major,
and minor life challenges.
How we handle these struggles,
on a daily basis determines our physical,
as well as our mental well being.

It takes only a single event to convince us,
we have no control over our circumstances.
Sometimes these challenges consume us with guilt,
panic attacks or chronic fatigue.

Our problems pressure us from every side,
threatening to crush or break us.
Surprisingly, all life challenges have a direct relationship,
in defining our purpose in life.

If only we could find assurance that there was a plan,
or reason for the difficulties we face.
We search for meaning in tragedy,
questioning our reason for hope or a future.

Decision Making

Decision making based only on human nature frequently produces serious consequences. When our selfish impulses influence choices disaster soon follows. When we exclude God from our decision making we intentionally ignore God’s instructions. We all make costly mistakes decisions that we wish we never made.

One of the most difficult factors in decision making is humbling ourself admitting that you don’t know it all or that you’ve failed. Some people struggles with decision making. The decision of our next car, a potential career change, or a commitment to a long term relationship. If only our decisions were risk free guaranteeing us the best desired outcome.

Decision making forces us to:
Accept responsibility for the success or failure of our choice. Experience first hand how that decision helps or harms others. Identify the most reliable source of wisdom that equips us for making those decisions.

True Meaning of Life

Love starts with a smile, grows with a kiss,
and ends with a tear.
Don't cry over anyone who won't cry over you.
Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave,
and impossible to forget.

The hardest thing to do is watch the one you love,
love somebody else.
Don't let the past hold you back,
you're missing the good stuff.
Life's short. If you don't look around once in a while,
you might miss it.

A best friend is like a four leaf clover,
hard to find and lucky to have.
If you think that the world means nothing, think again.

You might mean the world to someone else.
When it hurts to look back, and you're scared to look ahead,
you can look beside you and your best friend will be there.

True friendship never ends.
Some friends are forever.
Good friends are like stars, you don't always see them,
but you know they are always there.
Don't frown, you never know
who is falling in love with your smile.

What do you do when the only person who can make you stop crying,
is the person who made you cry?
Nobody is perfect until you fall in love with someone,
Isn't that the truth?
Everything is okay in the end.
If it's not okay, then it's not the end.

Relationship, Trust & Accountability

True friendship involves relationship. Those mutual attributes we mentioned above become the foundation in which recognition transpires into relationship. Many people say, "Oh, she's a good friend of mine," yet they never take time to spend time with that good friend.

Friendship takes time, time to get to know each other, time to build shared memories, time to invest in each other's growth. Trust is essential to true friendship. We all need someone with whom we can share our lives, thoughts, feelings, and frustrations.

We need to be able to share our deepest secrets with someone, without worrying that those secrets will end up on the Internet the next day. Failing to be trustworthy with those intimate secrets can destroy a friendship in a hurry.

Faithfulness and loyalty are key to true friendship. Without them, we often feel betrayed, left out and lonely. In true friendship, there is no backbiting, no negative thoughts, no turning away. True friendship requires certain accountability factors.

Real friends encourage one another and forgive one another where there has been an offense. Genuine friendship supports during times of struggle. Friends are dependable. In true friendship, unconditional love develops. We love our friends no matter what and we always want the best for our friends.

Who Is A True Friend?

We all have friends. A lot gets talked about friendships. Everyone wants a true friend, and many of us believe that we have a friend who can be called a true friend. What kind of relations do friends share? When can we call a friend a true friend, and when can our friends take us as their true friend. After a romantic relationship, friendships are the most important relationships we can have.

Though all of us have family and distant family, most of us rely on friends for advice, comfort and inspiration. How do we define a relation that can be called as one of true friendship? The very first sign of a very good friend, not necessarily a true friend is that we are not worried about courtesies. You will call your friend at any hour and talk without any thought of time in your mind. Similarly, whenever you need support, you will call a very good friend and ask him/her to help you out.

They expect the same from you. Another important trait of such relations is that we are not much worried about exposing ourselves. We speak about everything in our mind without worrying about what our friends will think. We are sure that they will take our talk in the spirit it was made.

We are unguarded and open with friends in our talk.A true friend is a little more than a very good friend. A true friend will support you even if it hurts his/her own interest. A true friend will understand your motives and needs and will be with you without any analysis or criticism.

A true friend will come forward to help without any request and be with us in need without showing it or expecting anything in return. With a true friend, you can be sure that you will get help to the extent possible by him/her. Nothing will remain unturned. A mother is a true friend of her children.

If we share such relations with an adult we can say that we are true friends. A true friend makes no excuses of having work or appointments or anything but will be with you whenever you need him/her. In your hour of desperation, a true friend will support you even if the whole world opposes you. A true friend is not an opportunist. A true friend means to have someone who is like mother, as I said earlier.

Instead of having hundreds of good friends, if you have a true friend, treat yourself lucky. If you can also become a true friend of someone, you will be blessed, because it is much easier for all of us to expect but very difficult to give. Be a true friend yourself first.
