I am thankful for everything I have experienced in this life of mine for in all I have found. I am thankful for all the tears I have cried for, they have taught me to appreciate laughter. You have given me the ability to see the joy that comes after.

Perhaps unconsciously I had this fear that bringing attention to the good things in my life might incur bad luck. So to play it safe, I went along without a grateful heart. You might be laughing now as you read this, and I thought that's rather silly of me too. But that's the belief I once held onto.

Not so long ago, I didn't know that I can express thanks for the blessings and good things in my life. I just took things for granted. Or worse, I was worried that if I was to acknowledge the blessings that I've received, somehow something "bad" would happen and take away those blessings.

Now, I'm quick to express thanks whenever a good thing comes into my life. Somehow, there's always something to be thankful about!I have this simple statement that I make often,
"Thank you God for all the blessings and abundance in my life."

Happiness Is Like A Butterfly

If you not happy, why aren't you? Chances are it is because you want something which you do not have, objects or conditions. This is probably not a good enough reason and a review of your situation and perceptions may be in order. You may have seen video of children in very poor countries laughing and playing, unconcerned that they should have more to be happy about.

They are happy because they are playing, because they have their friends and family, and some food to eat that day. Everyone has the right to be happy, and if they can be in their situation, shouldn't you? Happiness consists more in small conveniences of pleasures that occur every day, than in great pieces of good fortune that happen but seldom to a man in the course of his life. Happiness is inside us, in our minds, in our thinking.

It is not external material things or experiences, but the enjoyment of our thoughts and feelings. This is good because our thoughts, and therefore our happiness, are up to us.Start by reviewing the things that you have to be happy about and dwell on these. Don't overlook the little or basic things that you take for granted. Make a habit of substituting unhappy thoughts with happy thoughts. Whenever an unfavorable picture enters your mind, eject it and replace it with a pleasant one. We all have some nice experiences to recollect and there are usually little pleasures around us most of the time.

You can even imagine enjoyable experiences, and it will have a similar positive effect. Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you. Establish good principles and conduct yourself according to these principles. Love, or at least be tolerant of, your fellow humans. Don't strive too hard for that which, in the end, will not make you happier.

What a Beautiful Life Means

Love has many meanings,
from something that gives a little pleasure,
to someone like me would die for.

It can describe an intense feeling of affection,
an emotion or an emotional state.
In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love.

Probably due to its large psychological relevance,
love is one of the most common themes in poetry.
I'm giving my entire life to you,
all of my mind, body, and soul.

Handing over to you my sweetheart,
in hopes, you'll be the one to keep me whole.
I'm delicately handing my heart to you,
in your caressing hands to forever keep.

I'm giving you the chance of destroying me,
and I know I'm in your love too deep.
Depending on your gentle and sweet love.

To get me through the tragic world each day.
I'm praying to God you'll always be here by my side,
and that's where you'll always be to stay.

Putting you over everyone else including myself,
you automatically go to the front of my line.
Which is why I'm delicately handing you my heart,
in hopes, you'll always and eternally, completely be mine, InsyaAllah.

Suffer From Anger & Grief

We cannot always reason with those that are bitter towards us and sometimes we may need to accept that it exists. To counteract this with retaliation is something that needs careful consideration. Consider how much more you often suffer from your anger and grief, than from those very things for which you are angry and grieved.

Most of us experience anger at one time or another. Others may get angry with us, justifiably or not. We may become angry at others, sometimes with very good reason, sometimes not. One thing is for sure, it is not a pleasant experience.

Perhaps we are guilty of hostility more than we would like to be. Greater interaction with people should reduce these feelings. Less anger should result in more confidence and less stress.

Is a discussion possible and is it worthwhile? A few words and an exchange point of view might result in one or both sides having a change in attitude. Try to see another point of view no matter how unreasonable it appears.

Consider how you are feeling. It is common, perhaps good advice, to let anger be expressed, to not hold it inside. My personal experience is that sometimes I have regretted this because I was wrong or over reacted. Sometimes the anger still lingered. Avoiding anger in the first place, through conciliation or acceptance, can result in feeling better all around.

Finally, hatred is a prolonged anger towards a fellow human. There are various forms of hatred, motivated in different ways, and mostly without cause. Prejudice, jealousy, gossip, bullying are hard to deal with. This is where friends can be a great help in trying to understand these harmful actions. They can offer comfort and foresight. Please be a friend and whatever is begin in anger, will be ends in shame.

The Rule of Friendship

Interacting amiably with family and friends is a super stress reducer. Instead of the mind working overtime on worries and problems, it is occupied with thoughts of other things and other people. There is less mental capacity left for anxieties and self doubt. Friendship improves happiness and abates misery by the doubling of our joy and the dividing of our grief.

Good friendship is healthy but it isn't easy for everyone. Getting people to like you is the starting point, and that should be fairly easy to do. People have a basic need to be liked themselves. Show interest, appreciation, and kindness. Smile. Praise given out sincerely is a great act of friendship. Be a good listener and try to see the good, not the bad qualities in people. These actions will usually be returned to you, sooner or later. The only way to have a friend is to be one. A friend is a person with whom I may be sincere. Before him I may think aloud.

As a friend, try to let an unfavorable incident or remark fly right over the top of your head. We all blurt out something stupid or do something regrettable at times, and it's so nice when the other acts as if it never happened. This is a dear friend. The rule of friendship means there should be mutual sympathy between them, each supplying what the other lacks and trying to benefit the other, always using friendly and sincere words.

Happy Ramadan Al-Mubarak

The holy Month of Ramadan has arrived.Muslim faithful throughout the world are currently observing the holy month of Ramadan. Observant Muslims participate in fasting, one of the five pillars of their faith, this entire Lunar month .

Eating, drinking, smoking and sexual activity is prohibited from dawn until sunset, when the fast is broken with the evening meal. Local customs define varying traditions, including differing types of food used to break the daily fast. The fasting is meant to teach a person patience, humility and sacrifice, to set aside time to ask forgiveness, practice self-restraint and pray for guidance in the future.

I would like to give All Muslim community my sincerest best wishes for the Holy Month of Ramadan. Ramadan marks an important time in the Islamic calendar. Throughout this Holy Month, the universal element of Islam is evident as Muslims across the World take stock of their lives and their faith.

"Wish You Happy Ramadan Al-Mubarak"

Set Our Thoughts Properly

Life is thought, and when we cease to think, we are not living. How we think, is the kind of life we live. Since we are able to control our thoughts, we can determine the course of our life and the way we feel during our time here.We are what we think. It is very important to establish good thinking guidelines and follow them. Placing thoughts of peace and happiness in our minds will help to make our lives peaceful and happy.

If we do not set our thoughts properly, we travel through life by way of places where we will wish we had not gone. It is the mind that make us being good, happy, rich and poor. Our daily life includes thoughts associated with responsibilities concerning work, other people and handling problems. If possible, try not to think of too many different things during your day and don't move or think too quickly.

Start your morning with a plan to come through to bedtime relaxed, contented and ready for a restful night's sleep.Your own mind is a sacred enclosure into which nothing harmful can enter except by your permission. Reflect about things that can improve your feelings, learning, completing tasks, duties, pleasant, relaxing experiences and kind words.

Finally, think about your happiness, goals, life pleasures, your principles and your conduct. Think about enjoying the moment.

Ramadan Wishes to Noorsha...

Ramadan Wishes to Noorsha :
Ramadan is the holy month of fasting from morning until sunset.
A beautiful and heartfelt wish for a dear friend.
May Allah's Rahmat Shine On You.
Wish you and your hubby the blessings of Allah on Ramadan.
It is also the occasion to get together with your loved ones,
and hopefully both of you Happily Ever After.

Changing Our Thoughts

All of us face some situations in our life that cannot be changed and that make us feel helpless and hopeless. Perhaps it is less serious than that but we are stressed and worried.
It might be an event that has happened, happening or will happen.

It should provide some immediate comfort to consider that these situations do not directly cause these awful feelings but it is what we think of these situations. Changing our thoughts can have an enormous effect on how we are feeling. This has been stated by many great minds over very many years.

By reviewing some of the good things in our life past and present we can feel good even in what appears to be a very disturbing situation. As long as there is nothing we can do to fix a problem dwelling on the negative aspects of it will only make us feel worse and will do absolutely no good.

Since it all depends on what is in our thoughts we can control this. So start listing the things in your life that make or have made you happy. Stuff your mind with other things that make you smile or laugh. Keep it up so as not to let the negative creep back in.

Something good about babies. They fall and get up and try again and again and then they walk.
They are usually always ready to laugh at the littlest things. They are constantly interested in new things to learn about and normally sleep well. If they brood about a bad experience it's not for long.
Finally, things turn out best forthe people who make the best out of the way things turn out.

Appreciation of Loved Ones

Everyone has own unique relationship with their father. My unique and long lasting relationship with my late father is beyond his passing. He impacts me profoundly and his influences are likely passing to next generations in my life as well.

This writing is not to boast the greatness of my late father but simply a commemorating him as an individual who I admired and am willing to share with the readers after two years of his passing.

His legacy and wisdom is not limited to one recipient. Some words in this writing were composed when I spend the last months of his life journey with him at the Malacca GH Hospital. These writings genuinely reflect my inner feelings and pains of losing him a loved one, once a while in life.

I lost someone or something dear to me sometimes they are replaceable but sometimes they are not. For those irreplaceable losses sadness is not the solution we need to transform those pains and losses to something even more meaningful to individuals or to others.

He made many good examples for his children and others. Those who followed benefited in work, relationship, life, I believe. His expectations lay on what he taught us and he practiced them in his life as well words and actions are coherent in his case.

"I Love You Abah". Al-Fatihah.

It's Never Too Late

The harm that worry causes in our lives has been well documented by doctors and other professionals. Worry can weaken and sicken us and make our days unbearable. At the very least it prevents us from living fully and happily the only life that we will ever have. At its worse, it can destroy us. A god, invisible but omnipotent.

It steals the bloom from the cheek and lightness from the pulse it takes away the appetite and turns the hair gray. It does a lot more than that but the worry disease can be cured and it certainly can be reduced.

Of course it requires a change in our thinking how to view and react to situations.
Worrying over things that 'might' happen can waste large portions of our lives considering that so often it is for nothing and almost certainly does no good.

If you can solve your problem then what is the need of worrying. If you cannot solve it then what is the use of worrying. Worrying about things that have happened will not turn back the hands of time to give you another try at doing it right. So that is a waste of time too.

So many of our anxieties and fears are for nothing. Most of the rest can simply be discarded because worrying just isn't going to do any good. So let's spend our time thinking about the good and pleasant things in our lives and move on in a peaceful and contented state of mind.

I think these difficult times have helped me to understand better than before how infinitely rich and beautiful life is in every way and that so many things that one goes around worrying about are of no importance whatsoever.

Through reading and other instruction can help in turning our lives around. A life filled with contentment and lacking stress and worry are the goals to be achieved. Finally, it's never too late to start eliminating worry.

Before It Is Gone Forever

How the time flies. The days go by and they are years the years finally become our whole life.
Each daily portion can be wasted or it can be a pleasure before it is gone forever. If a bedtime review of the day concludes that we were too stressed, too busy, didn't accomplish anything, didn't have any fun, then it has been another lost piece of precious life.

Perhaps we are putting off our enjoyment until we have more time, money and some other improved condition. The trouble with that is that it might never happen or it may be too long in coming. It's so important to accept this time and this every minute as something of tremendous value that will very soon be gone forever. There are many ways to ensure that we make the best of our time here on earth.

In our daily routine let's include time to enjoy others and thus ourselves. Look and wonder at the trees, fields and mountains, smell the flowers, hear the birds and watch the clouds in the sky.
This world, after all our science is still a miracle, wonderful, magical and more to whosoever will think of it.

Face your problems bravely, confidently, and improve on your situation no matter what state it be in. Be good to feel good. Be active and improve your mind. Laugh, relax, and sleep well. Life is mostly froth and bubble. Two things stand like stone kindness in another's trouble and courage in our own.

The Effects of Cold Water

The Bad Effects of Cold Water

It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this sludge reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food.

It will line the intestine. Soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal. A serious note about heart attacks, we should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.

You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. Most of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let’s be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive.

The Good Effects of Cold Water

Stimulation of the Circulation. As before stated, cold water applied to the surface of the body arouses and stimulates the circulation all over the system. Blood counts before and after a cold water application show a very marked increase in the number of red and white blood corpuscles.

This does not mean that the cold water has in a moment created new blood cells, but it means that the blood has been stirred up and sent hurrying through the system, that the lazy blood cells which were lying inactively in the sluggish and stagnant blood stream and in the clogged and obstructed tissues are aroused to increased activity.

Undoubtedly, the invigorating and stimulating influence of cold sprays, ablutions, sitz baths, barefoot walking in the dewy grass or on wet stones and all other cold water applications depends largely upon their electromagnetic effects upon the system.

Elimination of Impurities, as the cold water drives the blood with increased force through the system, it flushes the capillaries in the tissues and cleanses them from the accumulations of morbid matter and poisons which are one of the primary causes of acute and chronic diseases.

As the blood rushes back to the surface it suffuses the skin, opens and relaxes the pores and the minute blood vessels or capillaries and thus unloads its impurities through the skin.

From Son to Father…

No man is perfect, however rarely would anyone ever see what few lesser qualities my late father may have had. That is the mark of a true Gentleman, and how most who knew my late father will remember him. My late father was often not a man of many words, and few would ever have had a bad word about my late father.

My late father had a difficult start to life, my late father worked hard all his life, having left school to work at many places with the hope of becoming a somebody for his family. Unfortunately he grew a bit tall for that pursuit, however he never let a lack of education stand in the way of providing for his family. He grew up in some very hard times, and did not like to see things wasted "Might come in handy one day" was something he used to say, and he preferred make do with what he had, rather than buy something new.

My late father was a simple man who appreciated the simple joy's life offered. He reminisced recently about some of the fun times he had with his brother and sisters, in a time when the world was a more peaceful place. Warm, quiet, gentle and patient are some words that come to mind when thinking of my late father. He believed in fairness and wasn't someone to complain about things.

My late father loved his golf, having played for many years. He played his last game several days before going into Malacca General Hospital, so it's safe to say he played his favourite sport as long as he possibly could. At one stage his handicap was as low as 11, and my late father also had the joy of shooting a hole in one during his life. His favourite golf club at Air Keroh Country Club, Malacca.

My late father was a family man, and spent most of his time at home. Words cannot express what he meant to his family, and what his family meant to him. He had a loving wife who cared for him, and that care was exceptional during the last years and months of his life. Only Rohani and Yahaya can fully appreciate the depth of their bond formed over 30 years together.

To his three sons, my late father was an inspiration. No thanks could ever be enough for the countless things he did for Along, Angah & Adik over the years, except to try to be as good a Father. The lessons our Parents teach, without ever knowing it, help make us who we are today.

My late father had the joy of spending time almost every day with my mother, Rohani. It's impossible to express a man's life in these few words, but the gift my late father has given those that knew him throughout those years will live on. The sadness of losing my late father is great, as were the many good times shared with him.

I believe, my late father would wish us to remember those happy times. Finally, maybe when we see my late father favourite golf set, we'll smile to ourself in memory of a wonderful man, who will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

"I hope that anyone reading this blog will, for a small moment in time, think about what my late father meant to me and know a little about his life".

"I love You Abah". Al-Fatihah.

Warning Signs of Depression

Signs of depression can be tricky to spot. Friends, family and relatives that's just how they is.
They may not notice the more serious warning signs of depression. Each person is uniquely created by God, so no list of symptoms fits every individual. However, here is a list of symptoms indicating possible depression:

Tiredness:
Despite proper amounts of sleep, a balanced diet,
and plenty of physical exercise,
the person may feel exhausted regularly.

Mood swings:
A person may experience happiness one moment,
and then be sad or irritated the next.

Difficulty coping with life:
The day to day routine of getting up,
going to work, and coming home can seem worthless.
The depressed person may feel as if he or she,
is not important, his or her job does not matter,
life does not matter.
There is a strong sense of hopelessness.

Depression is often triggered by:
Tragedy, the death of a loved one,
a divorce, wrong diet, an exam result, drugs, alcohol, etc.

Attribute of Human Nature

Depression can be mysterious,
because they can often get confused,
with general attributes of human nature.

Symptoms of depression include,
behavior that is out of balance,
or characteristics that are not within the range,
of what is considered normal for that individual.

These signs are recognized by professionals,
but there are many other indications that often,
go unrecognized and untreated.

If you have any doubt,
or concern regarding depression symptoms,
please see someone immediately for proper diagnosis.
There may be a chemical imbalance,
that requires treatment.

The Purpose of Life

Life challenges enable us to see ourselves at our best and our worst. We may attempt to temporarily escape our circumstances. Others find themselves overwhelmed careening out of control even contemplating how to commit suicide.

In time we found a way to guard our heart and mind. We discovered peace and joy by using words to bring hope and healing to others not as verbal weapons. We face our greatest life challenges. When we struggle to find love, security, and assurance that life truly has meaning.
Our fears, unhealthy behaviors and excessive emotional struggles result from our inability to interpret and correctly cope with our circumstances and feelings.

Whether wrestling with chronic pain, forgiving infidelity, or trying to conceive it is possible to move beyond that place of hopelessness. When we develop a personal relationship with the One who created us we discover how God wants us to respond in any given situation.

If you are facing difficult decision trust Him to provide the comfort, strength, and wisdom you need in order to continue toward your goal. By placing our faith in God, we take our hands off our problems.

Life Challenges

All of us experience major,
and minor life challenges.
How we handle these struggles,
on a daily basis determines our physical,
as well as our mental well being.

It takes only a single event to convince us,
we have no control over our circumstances.
Sometimes these challenges consume us with guilt,
panic attacks or chronic fatigue.

Our problems pressure us from every side,
threatening to crush or break us.
Surprisingly, all life challenges have a direct relationship,
in defining our purpose in life.

If only we could find assurance that there was a plan,
or reason for the difficulties we face.
We search for meaning in tragedy,
questioning our reason for hope or a future.

New Beginning of Life

Firstly, I just want to tell Noriah, how honoured I am today, to says something on her special day. The sum which two married people owe to one another defies calculation.
It is an infinite debt which can only be discharged through all eternity.

Marriage is ever made by destiny. Two human loves make one divine. A happy marriage is a new beginning of life a new starting point for happiness and usefulness. Marriage is the perfection of what love aimed at ignorant of what it sought. When you make a sacrifice in marriage you're sacrificing not to each other, but to unity in a relationship.

One should believe in marriage as in the immortality of the soul. Marriage is about two souls but with a single thought and two heart but beat as one.

Over the blog:
I’m sorry my dear friend, I couldn't be there on your wedding day, but I really feel so happy for you. Here I wishing you, all the best of health, happiness and prosperity for your married.

Finally, to keep your marriage brimming with love in the wedding cup, whenever you're wrong please admit it but whenever you're right please shut up.

Decision Making

Decision making based only on human nature frequently produces serious consequences. When our selfish impulses influence choices disaster soon follows. When we exclude God from our decision making we intentionally ignore God’s instructions. We all make costly mistakes decisions that we wish we never made.

One of the most difficult factors in decision making is humbling ourself admitting that you don’t know it all or that you’ve failed. Some people struggles with decision making. The decision of our next car, a potential career change, or a commitment to a long term relationship. If only our decisions were risk free guaranteeing us the best desired outcome.

Decision making forces us to:
Accept responsibility for the success or failure of our choice. Experience first hand how that decision helps or harms others. Identify the most reliable source of wisdom that equips us for making those decisions.
